Physical Therapy
Health Trax, Bucyrus Community Hospital's off-site physical therapy facility, provides comprehensive therapy after illness or injury. Health Trax is located at 953 Hopley Avenue and may be contacted by calling 419 562-1009.
Within the hospital, inpatient physical therapy is held in the patient room or on the thrid floor in the physical therapy room. This program provides a service to patients, usually post-operative, who are not ready to go home and take care of themselves. By providing this service, which can be done for up to 21 days, a nursing home stay may be avoided. This additional space allows for more comprehensive exercise sessions, therefore giving these patients time to gain strength and become ready to go home.
