Orthopedics deals with the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The practice encompasses fracture care, arthritis, sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, and total joint replacement. We also perform surgery for patients with trauma of the shoulder, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, and foot.

TOTAL JOINT REPLACEMENT
Total joint replacement is a surgical procedure in which certain parts of an arthritic or damaged joint is removed and replaced with an artificial joint, which is designed to move just like a healthy joint.

ARTHROSCOPY AND SPORTS MEDICINE
Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure used to visualize, diagnose and treat problems inside a joint. Arthroscopic surgery allows orthopedic procedures to be performed through small incisions. This results in quicker recovery and less trauma to the surrounding tissues.

FRACTURE CARE AND GENERAL ORTHOPAEDICS
Fractures may be treated either non-operatively or they may require operative fixation. The goal is to provide an environment that allows the bone to heal and restore normal function.
