HOSPITAL CHARGES

Some services have charges that are divided into two or more parts. Examples of this are the Emergency Department and the X-ray Department (Radiology). The bill charged by the hospital represents charges for hospital-provided services. The second bill represents physician charges (the Emergency Room Physician or the Radiologist). You are responsible for assuring that the financial obligations of your healthcare are fulfilled as promptly as possible. Regardless of the source of payment for your care, you have the right to request and receive an itemized, detailed explanation of the total bill for services rendered in the hospital. If any part of the bill you receive is not understood, it will be explained by personnel from the Patient Administrative Services Department. PRICE LIST

In compliance with Ohio Revised Code, Bucyrus Community Hospital is providing this price list containing our charges for room, department, operating room, physical therapy, and other procedures. The hospital's charges are the same, but the patient's responsibility may vary, depending on payment plans negotiated with individual health insurers.
