PHYSICAL THERAPY

Health Trax, Bucyrus Community Hospital's off-site physical therapy facility, provides comprehensive therapy after illness or injury.

Within the hospital, inpatient physical therapy is held in the patient room or in the physical therapy room. This program provides a service to patients, usually post-operative, who are not ready to go home and take care of themselves. By providing this service, which can be done for up to 21 days, an assisted living facility stay may be avoided. This additional time frame allows for more comprehensive exercise sessions, therefore gving patients time ot gain strenth and become ready to go home.
